Pls give me monthly expenses for family of 4 people staying Adelaide?

As I am migrating to Adelaide with my family members I would like to know the total overall expenses and the schooling facilities within Adelaide city.

Weekly house rentals vary from suburb to suburb, but AUS$200 - 250 would be an average for a neat 3 brm house. Inner city locations (within 10 kms from GPO) would cost nearly double.
An average house to buy in a reasonable suburb and location averages AUS$300,000 but prices are starting to soar and increase continually. Council rates are different from council to council area. I guess they average $ 1200 per year and are payable only if you are a home owner.
Utilities are on the rise continuously! Perhaps put aside $100 / month for telephone, $150 / month Gas and the same again for electricity and again for water ( we are in a water restriction state ATM ).
Food can be expensive if you do not look at junk mail leaflets and check on supermarket specials, but an average of AUS$180 - 200 / wk for meat, fruit and veg and groceries should suffice. My local butcher has great meat specials as I'm sure many others do as well - like $4.99/kg for bulk packed bacon and $4 / 2 Kgs of marinated chicken pieces.
Junk food outlets can be expensive - set aside about $8 /pp. Restaurants and pubs and clubs often have lunch and dinner specials. Meals can be as cheap as $8 ( roast of the day, fish n chips, pasta, etc) with free all you can eat salad bar and self-serve ice cream to $25 for a specialty meal order.
Movie tickets (singles) are around $14 pp or you can buy books of 10 to make prices cheaper. Super Tuesdays are the days for cheaper for cinema tickets.
Cars cost! Our public bus and train systems aren't too bad.
Petrol is ever on the rise. Presently, it's about $1.35 a litre. To fill an average car, put aside $70/week.
Busfares vary and are dependent upon time of travel and number of stops. Bulk tickets may be purchased for multi-trips.
As one would expect, you have a choice of public or private schools.
All schools have a uniform code. Private school uniform costs are exorbitant! However, you may be able to get second-hand ones at the school of your choice's uniform shop.
Private school fees vary depending upon the "snob" value - from around $3, 000+ at an outer suburban school to around
$30, 000+ per year for an exclusive inner suburban choice.
Public schools are much cheaper. School fees for the junior and primary years average about $200 - $300 per year, but you have to set aside money for camps, excursions and specialty events from time to time. Uniforms can be relatively cheaply bought at local stores or at the school itself.
High school fees can be expensive - around $ 500 - 800 per year. Many schools allow for regular installments to be paid throughout the year. Some school have family fee discounts for multiple children at the same school.
Good luck.
