I am planning for a trip to Agra for Taj. I want to cover it in one day from new delhi.?

I want to be back in the same day. Is it posiible ? What about the bus services of New Delhi-Agra route ?

you have 2280 taj express at morning 7.15 from nizamuddin railway station and you will be at agra at 10.10 and you can go directly to tajmahal which is just 20 minute journey from railway station. and if you want to go very early then you have 2002 bopal shatabadi exp from new delhi at 6.15 which is the fastest train so far in india will reach agra at 8.10 and you can go directly to taj from the railway station,
you can come back to delhi by night as every 30 minute from 14.00 hours you have a train to delhi which is 3.00 hours joureny . so take as much as time at taj and you can catch a train at 18.00 in the evening and come back to delhi by 21.30.
and if you want to go by bus then go by haryana state bus as they have good bus and also good service . you have bus to agra from kalen khan not from isbt bus depot, the bus journey hours is 4.30 hours .you have a bus at every 15 minute.
my advice to catch the train as it will be comfortable .

have you been to new delhi? do you know how far is delhi to agra? anyway, the answer is "YES" you can travel to and fro in a day, but it will be very rush and you don't get to enjoy your trip. if you are looking in travel by bus services in india, please be ready to spend a night in agra.

yes you can go by Taj Express train in the morning at 7:15 A.M. and you will reach at Agra at 10.00 A.M. at Agra Cant station. then you can take an auto for Taj Mahal it will take only 30 minutes for Taj Mahal . you will reach at Taj around 11.00 A.M. and you may spend your whole day at Taj Mahal and nearest Place Red Fort. if wish to see swami bag it is also great to see. then around 5.00 P.M. you may take auto for Agra Cant for Taj Express which is at 7.00P.M. for Delhi.


if you want to come by bus then it is also good. For picking bus you have to come at ISBT Transport Nagar. Bus will take 4.00 hours to delhi.

YOu can take a coach tour also for same day and it will cost you 2000 Rs per person if ok you can visit holiday club india .net and get the details
