What is the age limit for traveling by plane? |
i have a friend that wants to see his native birth place ....UK... before he dies , can anyone tell me what the age limit is and do you have to be in good health , my friend sufferes from early dimentia and needs assistance in getting around , he is 75yrs old There is no age limit; but it would be best if your friend had a travelling companion, considering his health status. It is not right to place the burden on airline employees to help him ... especially when they may not know how to (dementia affects people differently). There is no age limit, but I hope he won't be traveling alone, considering his condition. No age limit.... they will help at the gate with people that are sick..... as long as the Doctor says he is fit to travel... any age if the person can wing walk theres no age limit. if hes sick he should get a doctors permission to fly. and like everyone else said he should have someone fly with him to help. most airlines have a meet and assist program you pay for (kinda like the unaccompanied minor only for adults) and they will assist him in finding his gates and getting him where he needs to go but they are not health care proffessions or nurses and can not give meds or assist medically. I served Edward Teller. Believe me, there is no age limit and no health requirements. He dropped yogurt all over me, even though I told him I'd return to collect it... |
