How hard is it to get around the Dusseldorf Airport?

I'll be flying into Dusseldorf, Germany soon and would like to know how easy it would be for someone who doesn't not speak, read, or understand an ounce of German, to make their way through the terminal to baggage claim. I'm nervous about going for this very reason!!! I'd like to have some idea of what it's going to be like before going, so any input would be amazing.

Not that young, not naive, and I realize I won't be able to understand anyone.

Helpful answers, instead of smartass comments would be nice.

This is a map of the airport from the Dusseldorf Airport's website.

Most Germans speak English very well. However, some become irritated when an American does not know German (or refuses to speak German) and they are forced to speak English in their own country. Just a heads up. You can e-mail me if you'd like to learn some basic German words before you fly out.

For what it's worth, I managed to make my way through the Prague airport without knowing any Czech when most Czechs did not speak English (this was back in the mid 90s). Just follow the signs to find what you need (usually the signs are done with pictures of objects so any language speaker can understand them) and maybe check out the website link I provided above.

Good luck!

pretty difficult. my best advice would be to make a sign that says I AM A TOURIST, PLEASE HELP ME I AM VERY YOUNG, VULNERABLE, AND NAIVE

Duesseldorf airport same as rest of the world.you will find signs in english all over the terminal.it has it,s own railway
station with trains stop over 350 per days.i.m should you will able to find one for your destination.
