Has anyone ever had a good experience with KLM?

Every single time I've used KLM they have screwed things up and they never take accountability for any of their errors. Even the so called "cheap" and rubbish" airlines like easyjet, ryanair etc do a better job than them. I would rather fly with them across the Atlantic than KLM. What do you think?

I agree. I fly regularly with KLM and I'd say at least half my flights have been delayed or cancelled. However, as long as I arrive in one piece, I'm always happy.

There is a piece of European legislation called the Warsaw Convention that lets you claim back x amount if your plane is delayed by y hours, so you might want to read that and know your rights.

The black monks of circa 1945.

I can highly recommend a 3 in a bed romp with the flight crew in an airport hotel.

I,ve found them very efficient

I had a brilliant flight with them last year when i went to Amsterdam with them on an A330 from London Heathrow, superb service and it only cost me 拢80 return.

I've flown all over Europe with KLM and the only thing that has gone right on every flight is the fact that I've never been on board when they've crashed one, (I think I might have just tempted fate there).

No good experience at all. (Un)memorably, they screwed me up when travelling Scotland to Portugal a few years ago. OK. it was Boxing Day and there was snow in Scotland so flight to Schipol was delayed but they could not get me to the gate on time for my onward flight to Oporto. I made it to gate under my own steam, aircraft was still on-stand and they would not let me board. Instead, after a delay of several hours, they flew me to Lisbon (other end of Portugal). This meant a frantic call to my friend who was already heading north to Oporto and had then to turn about and head down to Lisbon (2-3 hours in opposite direction). Having left Scotland at 6.30am, I arrived at my destination about 2am next day. I'd have been quicker with the Dutch national transport - a bicycle !

Well, the milk chocolate they give you is tasty.

No

Your experience is exactly the opposite of mine. KLM is one of my very favourite airlines - I have always found them efficient, helpful and pleasant. I would absolutely NEVER choose a 'rubbish' airline like Ryanair, (your word, not mine, but I agree that Ryanair are rubbish), instead of KLM.

I think you have just been unlucky. I have always recommended KLM to friends, whose experience has been good, and would pick them if I had a choice between them and almost any other carrier.

well I suppose when I was expecting that boring dry cheese
baguette thing but got biscuits instead

Because life jackets are cheaper than parachutes. And like 60% of all households in the United States have swimming pools, so if you fall off the plane you wont drown in a swimming pool.
