I need to purchase airline tickets and the price keeps changing, and not in my favor.?

I looked just two days ago and the ticket was about $50.00 cheaper, now today they have jumped up. Should I wait and see if they will go back down? Or should I buy now before they go up even more.

I'm flying from Marquette, MI (MQT) to Tampa, Florida (TPA).

I need to be there March 16th, for an interview the following morning. I will be returning either the 17th or 18th, depending of flight costs.

Thanks in advance!

I would purchase them now, before they go up even more. Of course there is always the possibility that they will go back down, but there is no way of knowing for sure. One of the reasons they are probably so high for the dates you are looking at, is because that is around Spring Break time, and the flights fill up fast. Like I said, if I were you, I'd purchase them now.

They only get more expensive the closer to the departure date. Most airlines have a price raise at 4 weeks until departure then again at 2 weeks.

Flights always go up in price the longer you wait. Check the website I use to see if you can still get the price you're looking for.

Ticket prices seem to always be changing. Airlines have different tier/price levels. They sell a number of tickets at the lowest price and then a number of tickets at another level and so on. As the number of tickets for each level are bought, you go into the next higher price level. Therefore I would recommend that you buy the ticket now.
