What makes u proud of ur country ????

or just belonging to it and be from it
its heritage and history
its fame
it contributions and achievemnts
share with us ur pride

Im proud of my country Algeria
proud of being algerian lady
im proud of our smart president
proud of the diversity of geography and culture in my country
proud of our history
proud of a revolution of 1954 that freed my country from a colonisation of 130 years

In my opinion all people should feel proud about their countries but without fanaticism , because fanaticism is not something good.

For me all the countries are equals. Every country-nation has its own history , culture , tradition etc that make her unique and important.

Personally i love and i am proud for my country, Greece, for many reasons.

It's a country with a great history and culture, with many traditions.

Our ancestors made many achievements in science, philosophy, literature, theater etc even in ancient times.

But i am more proud of them because they gave their lives for freedom many times in history.

It's a beautiful country (like most countries) and despite that is considered a "west" country, it has many friendship-ties with the "east" for thousands of years.

But i most love her because it's my HOME ! :)

When it does the right things.

I don't believe in nationalism. therefore I don't see myself belonging to certain country. yet I have cultural tendencies towards where I grew up, have lived.

all that being said, one thing I cannot stop feeling patriotic about is my home country's soccer team.

we'll see when i get my tax refund back.

More than anything else, the fact that we fought a war of nine months, and three million people sacrificed thier lives, to be freed and independent in 1971.

i don't feel pride or shame on anything,for me, just do the right thing.

Well, as an Australian , I am proud of the fact that we have a stable democracy ,strong economy & a fair society where all people , no matter what their ethnicity , colour or religion can make a success of their lives .
Also , for a relatively small nation we contribute a lot to the world by way of innovation & research ...way disproportionate to our population , as well as in the area of sporting ability.
Being a young nation , only a little over 200 years since white settlement , our position on the world's stage is quite remarkable.

i'm speaking of the u.s of a. when i answer this question. i,m quite sure that others that answer this question will be from other countries(as it should be) you listed a few things....i,m proud because of those reasons, but the leadership hasn't been too satisfying in the past or the recent past.

i m proud to be moroccan , for me it s the most beautiful country in all the world , proud of its nature , it traditions , culture , but before all i m proub to be muslim then moroccan then arabic , thanx for question are u egyptian ,
