What is the best way for Transportation in Paris, France?

I am going to Paris,France for 5 days, what is the idea way for transportation, I really do not want to get into the metro and look at so many routes and maps. would a taxi cab be a good choice or renting a car with a driver..

Traffic in Paris is chaotic so unless you've driven in other european cities then I would suggest you do not do it. I believe the Metro is the best way of transportation there and it was built so that a station is really close to all the major tourist attractions. It is not difficult or complicated at all and you can buy a week pass and you can ride it as many times as you wish.

the metro really is the best way. its quite simple to use. most landmarks are walking distance from each other so perhaps just use your feet? traffic can be a bit mental there.

rent a car or just go on foot ...everything is very close and the city is small...enjoy , but be aweare of all the homeless and dog poo

rent a car....is the best option........

boat or car scooter type of thing

Tour guide buses

A sight seeing tour would do. But I would reccommend the metro. I've been on the metro system in Paris. And I saw most of the city and the Versailles.

You want to get into the metro. Trust me. It's the best way to get around Paris. It's very easy to use, and it'll save you a small fortune over taxis or a private driver.

I would put some effort into navigating the metro. It's really the best way to get around.
