Andalucia, Spain+things to do?

I need to have like a craft or hands on activity that would teach you something about the region of Andalucia (spain) It has to be something easy and non-timeconsuming. A website would help out a lot or even a book that has easy access at the library. Thanks in advance!!

How about flower arranging, that way you could learn all about the different flowers and plants from different areas of Spain, or painting, you could then paint the flowers or local scenery.Local garden centres sell plain terracotta plant pots you could paint them with different scenes of Spanish festivals. Go out walking and pick plants from the hedges then try and discover what they are. Basket weaving is also an old Spanish tradition, so is dancing.
Cookery, there are tons of sites on the web for this, you could try 1 recipe every week.
Plan a trip out, but before you go look on the web for the particular town you plan to visit and read up about it. Look on Google Earth and when you have found your home town spread your wings and look further.Photography is another option.
Lastly but by no means leastly how about joining a local Spanish class, then you could join in local Spanish ladies clubs, there is usually 1 in every town and village
Alternatively just browse the web for information on culture and you may be inspired by something
Good luck

They have a great big festival in Sevilla around April sometime. I think its called dia Sevillana. The Andalusian region in my opinion is the best area of Spain.

Something easy yet fun would be a project about the various architectural styles in Andalucia influenced by the Moors who lived there for 700 years. Search for La Mezquita in Cordoba or La Alhambra in Granada. Also, you could do something that has to do with the beautiful gardens, also from the Moors. Search for El Generalife in Granada.
