Which Andalucian town/city should I stay in for Seville/Jerez/Puebla Blancas/Cordoba access?

I will spend a week in Granada and then explore the cities named above by car/rail/bus. Seville - Cordoba is 30 min. on the AVE. Seville and Jerez are connected by highway.

Seville is in the middle, however, it's such a big city that I'm afraid it will take 45 min to drive anywhere from downtown.

Dos Hermanas -- map-wise -- is well placed, but I have no idea if it's pretty or worth staying in ... has anyone been there?

Villafranca is too ... again, I don't know anything about it.

We'll (we're in our 30's) probably look for a villa or apartment to unwind in and do laundry, etc.

If ease of access is your priority, DO NOT stay in the Pueblos Don麓t recommend it.

I would (in fact did) stay in Sevilla, and use the train (or bus) to get to the other cities. Don麓t plan on renting a car and using it to get around if you can possibly do the trains. They are quick and efficient. As you already know, 30 mins to C贸rdoba; about the same to Jerez, a couple of hours to Granada (maybe 3). I don麓t know whether there麓s a bus for the Pueblos Blancos, but as I recall, the trains don麓t go there. We rented a car for that, but definitely, get the GPS. That way, if you get lost, you know it.

As for an apartment...we had a great little place in Sevilla. Go to Sevilla5.com for all sorts of information. Lots to do there. Start at the Cathedral and Giralda, Alc谩zar, and park.

隆Buen Viaje!

Try www.cadiz.es
It is Europ麓s oldest tomn, suburg trains to Jerey de la Frontera, and express trains to Sevilla and C贸rdoba
www.renfe.es is the homepage of spanish rail.

If you want somewhere completely different try the Parador in Arcos de la Frontera. It麓s close to Jerez de la Frontera. I have stayed there and can recommend it.
