Hello Andalucia - Malaga - IKEA?

Did anyone visit IKEA this weekend, this place is going to send the spaniards credit cards into melt down! since it opened last week the car park has been jammed packed full, came buy today.............same again, don't folks have jobs to go to?
This is of not much importance, just thought I would post a few words on the Andalucia site!!

PS fro Zena,
I lived here fro 25 years, ys there has been Ikeas in Spain for ages, think the biggst at the time was in Seville, but the one in Malaga was opened the other week, and the opening I think even surprised the bosses, its right on the main 340 road, more or less on the end of the main runway of the airport.

Still haven't been, I was in PAris for the weekend, hope to be able to go next friday morning.

I went there it was great

My mum went but they had a one way system going - if you wanted something you had passed you had to go all the way round.

went there gave up i will go in few weeks time.

the spanish are still recovering slowly from gen Francos' regime. i'm suprised it took this long as they already have mc dons and burger kings. soon they might actually have a train that goes from Malaga through to Marbella ( i know it's in the pipeline) then they can start to think about finally moving disneyland paris to Estapona

Yes we have two in the Barcelona Area...
Its ok in price. you can find some things cheaper and others not..

Take care..

We have had Ikea in the Andalucian capital for years now. They are even having to contrust new access roads to deal with the queues of traffic.

i'll be near malaga over christmas, is it worth going to, or do they have the same stock as the ikea's around london?
