Like to live in Aquitaine France, more info would be fantastic please.?

Dear French people and people who moved to this era, can you tell me how it is to live there.
I'm from Belgium and my husband and I like to move next year to buy a a farmhouse overthere.
Where are the D.I.Y. shops?Best markets? Best holliday resorts?
Hows the medicals there, medicine's?

Its the mid & haute Pyrenees .
Not the sea erea, not the Pyrenees Atlantic.
And yes I know it's 9 times bigger then Belgium.

I'm afraid it isn't possible to answer in depth. Aquitaine is quite big (bigger than Belgium), it is made of five departments :
Dordogne,
Gironde,
Landes,
Lot-et-Garonne
Pyr茅n茅es-Atlantiques.
with plenty of towns and cities and lots of land. Maybe you should refine your desire. Do you want to live by the sea, inland, where's there is plenty of people? Or even next to the mountains?
If you want to live by the sea in a well developed area then it is the Gironde, if you want the sea and tracks of empty lands you have les Landes. Full of tourists in summer.
The moutains (and the sea) : Pyrenees Atlantiques.
etc...
If you speak French you can Wikipedia the departments to have an idea about them then google for their information sites, they can give you all the information you need to refine your question.

Sorry, I do not live there, but you should ask this in the French version.
