The area around the Rydges Hotel, the corner of Federal and Kingston Streets, Auckland, is it hilly? It's in a hilly part of the CBD. Just remember for every hill you walk up, there's a walk down as well. There are some hotels near or on the harbour which are also on the flat. Hilton Auckland which is built over the water, Mercure (Not on the harbour) but about 200m walk on flat. Copthorne Auckland, which is on Quay Street, at the Harbours edge. does a bear $hit in the woods? yes the whole of Auckland City is Hilly. Queen street is the main road and it is one long hill. if your hotel is in the heart of the city, it is definately going to be on a hill. You may get lucky and it be at the bottom though!! Mt Eden is not the only mountain you can go up for free. Try also Mt Wellington, One Tree Hill, or Rangito... Hi there! Yea i study at AUT too. Jus started this year. Honestly the university is really great! I have absolutely no regrets choosin AUT as it is a more practical uni as in instead of just studyi... Yes all pubs have Sky TV, but it's managed by Sky Australia and we don't get all the games. What you need is a pub that has a proper large satellite dish. That will give you much more c... u cld light a candle, or get a flashlight and do things u wld normally do that dont req' electricity....perhaps read, write or, chat over phone with ur frens? ...Definitely Auckland Zoo in the Kiwi House. Be prepared to spend quite a few minutes in there. Because Kiwi are nocturnal birds the Kiwi house is kept quite dark and you eyes will take some time t... |
