You're about 40 years too late mate if you think you can get agricultural land near Auckland City these days.
All the prime agricultural land has houses sitting on it and that land sell for about $NZ 400 000 per fifth of an acre - bare.
The agriculturalists have moved to Southland and Canterbury where prime land is available at about $5 000 per acre.
