Can I have a part-time job now?

I just got here in New Zealand 3 months ago, we're not yet a permanent resident, some people said that I can have a part-time job if we're already permanent but others said no. I'm 15 and studying in Glenfield College. Can I have a job now? I have to buy the things I like on my own.

I'm not to familiar with job policies in New Zealand...
But go out and apply to a few places... If they like your application and you can work what they need you should be golden.

Slightly confused by your question, not sure if you now have residency or not.

If you are now a permanent resident, then yes you are allowed to have a job
