Towns between Killeen and Austin?

Can anyone from TX tell me which towns will offer the best commute for 2 people where 1 needs to commute to UT and 1 needs to commute to Killeen?

I want the commute time to be somewhat equal for both. Priced around 800-1500 for a 2bd/1ba. Small dog. Thanks.

To keep commute times relatively equal:

Live in Georgetown (27.7 miles to Austin, 40 miles to Killeen).
Live in Liberty Hill (33.3 miles to Austin, 41 miles to Killeen).
Live in Round Rock (18.5 miles to Austin, 50 miles to Killeen).
Live in Leander (25.3 miles to Austin, 45 miles to Killeen).

Commute times are approximately an hour to an hour-and-a-half, except to Austin during rush hour traffic.

North Round Rock

Pflugerville, Round Rock, Cedar Park and Leander.

Temple>Rogers>Cameron>Rockdale>Thorndale... Rock>Austin

Georgetown/Round Rock area is about the half way mark, but I promise it doesn't matter how close to Austin you live, the one who has to drive into Austin everyday will have the "longer" ride. Traffic going into Austin is horrible. When I drove from Killeen to Austin to work, it took 2 hours to get there and only 1 to get home. It bites!
