Anyone been to Austin?

Tell me about what yout think. =)

I moved here from San Antonio, TX: 55 Miles SE of Austin.

Austin is THE BEST place to live. It's so beautiful here. Everyone is so laid-back, downtown has so much to do for the locals, the parks are plentiful, and it's a very clean city. There IS NOTHING about Austin that I don't like.

College town, big 2 decker freeways (each way), loop a rounds, great food, and 6th street is the best place to party. I make sure I go to downtown 6th street every time I visit. A lot of fun. I think!
Also have to do the river walk, and check out the bats that come out at night, along with all the turtles at the dam area. Never seen so many turtles before in any river. lol

I live a few minutes away. I love south Austin's hometown feel and the Lake Travis area. But as for the rest of Austin, its too much of a party place and too crowded for my taste. I do go to 6th street occasionally to see friends perform but I'm not a very sociable person and I hate the mass amount of people. Get me drunk and then take me to 6th street- thats another story. Then I love EVERYONE!
