Is the October Fest in Munich good?

Do you like to drink? Do you like to drink beer? If you like good beer then you will like it. It is crowded and sometimes fights happen (lots of people + alcohol=fighting) but it is a great cultural experience. Be aware they tend to charge you if you need to use the toilets. If you are a guy you can make anywhere your toilet! Try it in the day time to avoid crowds if you are claustrophobic.

It really depends on what you consider GOOD. If you enjoy massive crowds, most of them drunk, lots of beer and good food, then it is good. If you are considering going, be advised, hotel rates go up during Oktoberfest, and the longer you wait to make reservations, the more difficult it will be to find a room near the action.
