Looking for advise on travel from Prague to Hamburg Germany? |
In Late June my husband and me are goning to spend a few days in Prague and then need to get to Hamburg for world cup soccer games. My personal suggestion is to take the train (I spent time living in both cities and moved from Hamburg a year and a half ago). End to end, the trip will take you about 8 hours, and should cost about 75鈧?(double check bahn.de to be sure of the cost). The trip is a nice one through the countryside and with the cost of petrol, etc, I think it's worth it to go by train. Well, you can drive if you have a rental car. Are you planning on driving back also? One way rentals through Europe are very pricy. Gasprices are also pretty expensive, about 3 Euros per liter, not per gallon! I've lived in Germany for the past two years and if there's one site that I love to share with people, it is Mappy: |
