Do you need a passport to take a cruise from florida to the bahamas? According to the government website, no passport needed to take a cruise to the Bahamas. However, some cruise lines are requiring you have a passport. I would ask the cruise lines what their current requirements are. No...not yet for cruises. You can bring your birth certificate and photo ID. Starting in 2009 you will need a passport for cruises. Right now you need one for air plane trips to Bahamas. yes |
