The King of Bahrain has 3 wives. One is the Mother of the Shaikh Salman, Crown Prince of Bahrain, the second is the Mother of Shaikh Naser who is in horse riding & poetry and the third one is the Mother of his youngest son, Shaikh Faisal, who passed away in a car accident last year.

The King of Bahrain - King Hamad bin isa Al Khalifa seems to not practice polygamy. He has only one wife - Shaikha Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, with whom he has had six children.

King Khalifa seems to have a progressive political stance as he has enacted numerous reforms, including holding elections for the parliament and granting women the right to vote in Bahrain.
