How to dress on a business trip to Bahrain - I am an Indian woman?

How to dress on a business trip to Bahrain - I am an Indian woman?

You should wear business formal. It's preferable this way because you will find most of the people dressed in this code.
However, if your traditions prevent you from doing so, go ahead and wear your traditional clothing. Just make sure you choose formal colors.

Or, as a last alternative, wear the traditional Bahraini Abaya (black gown which women wear) because it is accepted everywhere in all occasions.

Enjoy your trip.

Either:

Business Formal, or Smart Casual, you can add some feminie touches (blouse instead of formal shirt)... but as long as it stays reserved and not showing off too much of your body.

Yeah, going for 'safe' colors would help a lot.

So, you can wear a formal business suit, or even a nice blouse top with pants or a skirt.

Enjoy your business trip!

It depends on the nature of the business. The first two ansers are very good. If you are asking about religious dressing code, in Bahrain, there isn't any. You can wear a suit, a skirt or even a sari. Bahrain is a free society, unlike Saudi Arabia, you don't have to wear certain clothing or cover your hair.

Yep, Serendipity and Purple nailed it right.
If you are normally wearing your business suit to work, you can pretty much wear the same thing in Bahrain.
We see lots of women wearing the traditional abaya simply because there are lots of Bahrainis in the working sector.
