Is bahrain a nice place to work ?

I am about to move to bahrain as the chinese chef in a new chinese restaurant which will be serving modern-chinese cuisine

I will answer you on the basis of your origin (asian) and your work.

Bahrain is the best place to work as of the moment for the following reasons:

a. cost of leaving and real state is within reach according to your income.
b. traffic is manageable
c. basic services (water, electricity, & food) is excellent
d. lastly, you will be able to SAVE your precious income.

However, on the other side - drawback is that the population of chinese people is less compared to Dubai or the whole UAE. Chinese Restaurants are few compared to UAE & Qatar so your choice of jobs to choose (in case you would like to change) is minimal.

On the brighter side, you have a lot of hotels to choose from as well.

Dubai or Qatar's salary could be higher than Bahrain but believe me - the bottom line is not how much you are going to earn. It's how much you are going to spend.

Dubai and Qatar will drain all of your earnings specially on the housing and cost of leaving !!!
