Is a photo driving license from India valid in Switzerland?

Wat if one has to travel from Swiss to other schengen countries.??will the same hold good then too ?

u need to have an international driving license from india to drive anywhere abroad. that liscense is valid for a year. after that u need to apply for a license from the country u reside in next, u will be required to take a test there. that international license will hold good to drive anywhere.

You want to take driving licence in other countries and if you submit your indian license, instead of learner stage they will take you directly to driving test with very little (For me half an hour) practice with testing inspector.
