What is there to do around Nurnberg December 5 to the 21st this year?

I'm looking for events, places to go, good beer establishments, restaurants, ...etc. also if there is anything going on in Bamberg, Regensberg, Wurzberg, Hohenfels, or Parsberg.

Hi,

the official homepage of Nurnberg is
http://www2.nuernberg.de/internet/portal...

It is an english version which includes a timetable of events and festivals.

As the one before said, do not forget to visit the famous "Christkindlmarkt", that is the christmas market of Nurnberg.

Enjoy your time there...

For the other cities, search for them with google. I think you麓ll find the official pages very easily.

Check out the Christmas markets!

The christkindlesmarkt should be starting sometime in December. It`s awesome! Have some Gluehwein!
Hohenfels is a little Army Base town. Been there many times (my ex was stationed there when I met him). In Nuernberg, check out the "Shamrock", it`s an Irish Pub on the "Luitpoldstrasse" (where all the strip clubs are). I started going there at age 16! Gosh I miss it so! Of course I have not been there in about 5 years, so....Have fun!!!

Hi from Germany! You better do not look for Regensberg and Wurzberg, because these cities do not exist. It's Regensburg and W眉rzburg.

To look up where to go, just go to the following sites:

www.nuernberg.de
www.regensburg.de
www.bamberg.de
www.bayern.de

What I strongly refer is: Go to the so called Christkindlmarkt and visit a soccer match of 1. FC N眉rnberg in a very nice stadium with crazy fans :-)

Bye from D眉sseldorf, Germany

Hi from bavaria! well, the best you can do at nurenberg is: visit the famous nurenberg x-mas market, eat bratwurst(grilled sausage),gingerbread, and drink gluehwein(hot red-wine with spices) very delicious(u will love them). visit old shears a very nice irish pub. Regensburg is a very nice old town (castra regina, from the romans) with also a nice x-mas market, but there are many wonderfull pubs and bars u have to see. also in bamberg. in hohenfels,(US training area) parsberg a small town nearby hohenfels a really boring places. if i can help u with any questions, write a short mail. i live 20 miles in the south of nurenberg.
