What is the cost of milk and bread in bavaria?

I am asking about cheapest price.
I will be staying in Bayreuth.

The same price as everywhere in Germany.

Aldi or Lidl - the links below will show you a map of where they are - are the cheapest place to buy them from.

milk will cost about - 0.40-0.50 cents

Bread from about 1-2鈧?- it depends on the type of bread that you buy though.
Bread rolls are a lot cheaper and will cost you about 0.12 cents.

Germans are very fussy about bread and there is a huge selection to choose from. The better the bread the more expensive it will cost you.

Uuuh...most places in Germany are pretty cheap. You won't have a problem. However, the funny thing is that the beer is cheaper than water. lol

It's free over here if you're an immigrant.

The cheapest price you'll get in an ALDI or Lidl supermarket, Lidl is just about 500 meters from the station of Bayreuth (Leibnizstra脽e), or at a Plus supermarket. Milk is about 0,45 鈧? bread between 1,- 鈧?and 2,50 鈧?

Bakeries are also not that expensive, and the best bread in Bayreuth you'll get in the bakery at Jean-Paul-Stra脽e, I'd say (just my own personal experience, I've tried many bakeries there ;-)

Milk will range from 49 Euro-cents per liter for tetra-pak milk to about a Euro for fresh milk. Some stores mark down the price the day it expires so if you drink it soon you can get a bargain! Bread is another story. Prepackaged bread can range from 35 Euro-cents in a cheap supermarket like Aldi to 2-3 Euros for bread from a bakery. Also some bakeries sell their leftover stock for half price an hour before closing or early the next morning.
