Is Belfast Stena Line Terminal close to the city hall?

Belfast: How do I get from the Stena Line Terminal to City Hall?
I do not have a car. Is it walkable? Taxi? A safe walk?

andrew: as a foot passenger, leave the terminal building with your back to the sea, turn left and walk straight, you will walk under a flyover and pass a multi storey car park, keep going and the court houses will be on your right, take that road, it is blocked of by a barrier, go straight for a further 7/8 minutes you will be outside the city hall.

Yes its close to the city hall and walkable on a good sunny day. Its probably about a mile walk. Use a taxi advertised on Stena if you want to taxi ask the staff for directions before you get off the boat. Its not dangerous at night but you would be better ordering a taxi. A good reasonable hotel close by is Days Hotel. Dont stay in the Europa its now a old hotel which is over priced. Make sure you go to the Crown Bar in Great Victoria Street. agree with above. you get good deals at belfast hilton which is next to the harbour. wouldnt stay in europa either. all them bombs in the passed have made walls crack. seriously belfast is great and crown bar is excellent!!!

If you've got luggage get a taxi you'll find them outside terminal. City Hall is within walking distance people are very friendly here so you''ll get directions very easily. Try The Apartment which is a bar/ restaurant nice meals good nighlife it is right beside city hall. Belfast has really changed you'll have no hassle at night it is probably one of the safest cities in UK. Hope you have a great trip. Hasta la vista.

Yes it is close to the City Hall make sure you get a reduced fare from the taxi if you are not the only passenger in it, also if you get the chance take the open top bus tour around Belfast it is great, I have lived in Belfast all my life and there where places on the tour that interested me and it is very reasonable.
