What county is belfast in? |
What county is belfast in? Depends where abouts in Belfast you live. Both County Down and Coutny Antrim are accepted as the 'counties' of Belfast. Generally, if you live to the south/east of the Lagan, you will be in Down but if you live North/West of the Lagan, you will be in Antrim, but for postal addresses etc. either is accepted but not stating a county is probably better. Co. Antrim Co antrim Antrim It's in Antrim in Ireland. Everyone elso knows but its worth a point......Antrim As above. Belfast County Antrim Northern Ireland Aren't certain parts of Belfast in CO. Down, depending on the postcode? in america and northern ireland County Antrim Norn Ireland Northern Ireland 1 England 0 goal scorer was Mr D Healy lol depends from what angle u look at it from part in Antrim, part in Down Id say County Antrim County Antrim in NORTHERN Ireland x Belfast is technically in both County Down and County Antrim the river Lagan deliniates the two counties. Most people however class Belfast as being in County Antrim as the majority of the city is Antrim side of the river. It's definitely Co Antrim. |
