Belfast N.I?, have you ever been to Northern Ireland?

Have you ever been to Northern Ireland?

Im from Belfast b.t.w

Yes! I live in Belfast! This city is pretty cool.

Despite what everyone says about Belfast, it is a good little city and has some amazing people, places etc. I know it has that stigma of the troubles and violence etc but I guarantee you that all people will do to you is be nice, just like any other place (hey, maybe better than normal, we're Belfasters after all!). Every country has it's troubles, every city has it gangs but our problems are just a little more weird than usual, that's all!

After my rant, you're probably a resident of Belfast wanting to know if others have been here but I'm assuming you want to come and I'm trying to eliminate that bit of fear that so many people have before coming to Belfast, LOL!

Yup, the north coast is so beautiful.

Good for shopping

Yes to the New Lodge area in Belfast to see family

yep, we went on a hen weekend and had a BALL!! and everyone is sooooo nice. loved it and will definitely go back!

no, but i know it"s really nice there & wish i had the time to go

Many times,i have even been recently as myself.

Yes, it was beautiful, plan on going back.

Yes, it's quite recommendable.
Giants Causeway, Smithwicks Beer, the bushmills distillery tour & a drive-around the bigger towns are musts & you'll love it.

Yes. I live here and have done so for 47 years.Belfast is ok but i dont go there often even though its only 25 miles away. There is nothing there that i cant get locally

Yes, Never seen so many flags...
Town's not much different from rest of country
nice County-side

yes. i live there lol.

yes, lots of times
belfast is good for shopping
and the are around antrim, and the giants causeway etc is really stunning.

First hand experience as i'm from norn ireland too. We need more money for tourism though ,especially in NEWCASTLE , it's a tad tacky for me you certainly can't take away from the scenery though i love the antrim coast. lol

yeah i've been all over NI, but thats because all my family are from there (I live in Liverpool & always have). I've come to feel like Belfast is my second home, brilliant shops, nights out, sights, day trips, restaurants...and so on.

I love it that much that my boyfriend & I decided to take our holiday there a couple of years back (proper holiday, i.e not just over to visit family). We had a brilliant time, especially as he had never been before. Consequently he has wanted to go back with me a couple of times.

Rock on Belfast :)
