What Do You Know About Northern Ireland?

The BEST country Out ;]

Lol Don't worry I agree with the Yob Thing =p

Its true :]

We had an unexpected weekend off and the only transport out of Scotland was the ferry from Stranraer to Belfast. We went blind knowing nothing really except the bad bits you hear on the news. Anyway we had a great time the hospitality was amazing, finding a hotel room was like finding the proverbial needle! mind you we didn't realise it was gay pride week and the city was busier than usual. We did the bus tour of the city, right round the Parliament building and the city, it was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.

My brother lives in Belfast

The best country out of what?

All I know is that the people of N.I. are friendly and open and down to earth nice people.

Good for you and carry on like that.

Beautiful country.
Part of the UK.
The troubles.
People there speak with wonderful accents (my family is from Donegal)

Lovely people,

Beautiful place, but bit of yob culture, I hate to add. Golden mile on a weekend night has great clubs, restaurants, but half naked drunken women, and virile young thugs, seem to be the norm. However the coast road from Belfast to the North West is unbelievably beautiful, as are many other beautiful places and monuments, pubs and eating places in the North of the Emerald Isle.

carrigfurgas(spelling not first class) was a place my mam dad stayed in the 70`s and had a great time ,being welsh they enjoyed the locals and the irish beer which flowed freely.

It Has Cool People Called Caitriona, Sinead And Cathal In It :)

best country I know

It has the largest Ikea in it right next to George best city airport - so while you have ur meatballs u can watch the planes landing & taking off - (entertaining for my 4 year old anyway)

Breathtaking mountains, Giants causeway, and you have to see the huge Lough Neagh next to the international airport.

Yes the troubles, still some graffitti but it is getting better - stormont is quite impressive as well.

great place my gran on my dads side was from Lymavadi near Warren Point

I travel to Northern Ireland about 6-8 times a year, i adore the place and the people, i have done many a tour all round NIreland, my fav place was portstewart, and bangor, fantastic shopping, also it has breath taking scenery, especially giants causeway, its a must see, and the rope bridge, wow !
The Crown Bar opposite the Europa Hotel in Belfast , has fantastic food, the steak pie is to die for. The best time the world ive had there. Good luck.

Just fly from Glasgow Airport. Cost about 拢30. Only reason to take ferry is if you need your car as it's dearer & takes far longer than flying. PS Stranraer is spelt like this.
