Do i need my passport....????

i am thinking to go to Belfast for 1 day do i need to have my passport, i heard that any identification will be fine as belfast comes in the United Kingdom??

i am already in london, i am not in USA. i live in Britain by my passport was lost last week so it will take time to issue new one and i need to travel very soon

Any Photogrpahic ID should be sufficeint although I'd take your passport to be on the safe side in case some stupid person doesn't accept your drivning licence

just take it to be on the safe side.--------------------------------

You do not need a passport for travel between the islands of Britain and Ireland. Any state issued photo ID (driving licence etc.) will get you anywhere in Europe

Even if you cross the sea you'll need the passport. Its mainly since the 9/11 and 7/7

yes..... as easy as that

You are going to need the passport to get back in the U.S.

In the US, you now need your passport whenever you leave the US....Before you didn't need it for Canada or Mexico, any ID would do...Belfast (Northern Ireland) is still a UK possession which means you wouldn't need it but if you have one, I'd surely bring it along anyway...you never know...

If you are going by plain then yes you do, because you cant check in otherwise. by coach/car/ferry you do not.

they do not check your passport in Northern irland, becasue it's part of the UK. only when you travel by plain, you will be asked at check in at the airport (any airport) to show your passport. and if you travel to southern irland.

You will need some sort of photo I.D. not necessarily a passport,a diving license will do.Check the airlines website and the information you need will be there.

You will be fine with just photo ID as it is a domestic flight in the UK. However, if you were to fly to Dublin / Cork etc in the ROI (Republic of Ireland), you would need your passport.

Any photo ID will do. Check with the airline. Its part of the UK.
