Have you ever been to belfast??

if so what did you think??

It's a dirty hole.

Yes,Didn't stay long enough to form an opinion.

I live in Belfast!
It's getting better since the troubles ended, still a long way to go.

Belfast, Maine, yes, many times. Pretty seaside town.

Yep, went there for a wedding.
It may not be absolutely beautiful (although the hills surrounding it look stunning in the sunlight) but the people I encountered were so much friendlier than in SE England and the level of customer service in shops was exemplary.

Yes, my best friend lives over in N. Ireland quite close to Belfast. When I go over there to see her, we always have a shopping trip to Belfast and I have to say, I am very impressed with the city for all sorts of reasons. It's a lovely place nowadays.

Yes, use to live in belfast. But still go up and visit family. It has fairly quitened down since the trouble's ceased. Do go and visit and let us know what you thought.

I live in Belfast and I love it, I am very proud of where I am from.

Belfast is one of the most upcoming cities at the moment and has gotten very trendy with some great bars and clubs, and the shopping just keeps getting better with new shops opening all the time. Plus there are a lot of sights to see in Belfast and all over Northern Ireland, such as The Giant's Causeway, on the North Antrim Coast.

There are tours availble from Belfast to The Giant's Causeway.

I,ve been to Belfast many times, used to work in the " Royal" walked up the Grosvenor Road from the GNR station when I arrived from Lisburn. Its a great place now and a super place to spend a weekend.

Excellent place - I travel there a lot with work - We got a few government contracts, and I usually spend a couple o weeks there at a time.

Good pubs, good eateries, and a FANTASTIC transport network in and around the city.

If you have any doubts, dispell them.

If ye don't go, ye'll never know.

Yep I moved here to live. It's a strange sort of city in that it's small so you'll often bump into people you've met before. Quite an up and coming young music scene. New investment is doing great things with the city centre at the moment, new shopping centres etc.

Oh aye. The craic's great so it is!

yes indeedy. it is class so it is

Yes I have.

It was OK, I guess, but certainly not the most interesting city I have ever been to.

I live there - wouldnt be my choice of a city to live in though. I dont feel it has much character about it.

I love about an hour and a half away from Belfast.
its a great place
there;s so many great young bands from around the area and there's nearly always a gig somewhere.
shopping is great too.
its also got the great history of the troubles etc. there's tours of the Falls and Shankhill roads and everything. what more could you want. lol

Belfast has improved greatly over the last ten years. I live in Belfast and I love it, you are within walking distance of good pubs, clubs and restaurants and the city centre has everything you could ever need, There are good places to visit sich as the Crown Bar in the city centre, I think its a victorian bar, and also the city hall and other nice buildings. You should defo come for a visit, its really nice during the summer, and especially the countryside outside of Belfast where you could go for a day trip
