I will be traveling to Salvador, Brazil in August. What should I wear?

I don't want to stick out as an American Tourist too much - what should I wear to fit in?

Hi, Salvador is hot all year round so you want light clothing made from cotton and fabrics that let your skin breath. If you don't want to stick out as a tourist wear jeans and a t-shirt/shirt when you're in the city center and save the shorts for going to the beach. Hope you enjoy the trip!

PS: Brazil has a thriving clothing industry so you might want to check out some clothes shops while you're there.

body armour good luck

Something colorful.

hi, i recommend you to take cold and hot clothes ( i hope u understand my English, I'm from Argentina, so the only English i know is from miy school, i really talk Spanish)
Depending the day, u'll use different clothes. Probably u could swim, so take a swim suit. And mostly of the ninths would be cold, so take also that kind of clothes. If you have any dobut about latin america or sth relationated with that, email me. bye

bring a few sweatshirts and maybe a windbreaker. Its not freezing cold but it gets a little chilli at night.

swimming suit!
