Which are are the prestigous areas of Berlin?

I am starting to research buying an investment flat in Berlin. I have never been, but before i go to start to look i need to know a few things. What are the Berlin equiviants of London'd Chelsea or mayfair. Also what would be the equiviant up and coming groovy media creative heavy areas, equivilant to london's hoxton and amsterdam's der pijp and jordaan.

wannsee, dahlem and charlottenburg are the pricey areas.
kreuzberg is arty, hippy and understated/student cool. prenzlauerberg is up and coming arty chic and soon to become pricey cool. prenzlauerberg would def be the best place if you are looking hoxton-esque.
