I need to know alot about germany, becuse i have to do a report on it so if you can help me out thats great!!!

i'm looking for GRMANY, EURPOE
and i need to know: what they eat, what they wear, what they do alot during the day, what there capital is, and a couple more things so if you can help me out that would be great
thank you!!!

I am German and I would kindly ask you not to fall for the usual prejudices. Most Germans have not seen a lederhosen in their whole life. We eat, drink, wear, drive, work etc. about the same as other people in western countries like US, UK, France, Canada, Finland or whatever. Our capital is Berlin and for the rest you better consult wikipedia, or try the link below.

since you obviously know how to use the internet, try GOOGLE! you should be grateful! when i was in high school, some of my teachers made us use only actual books to write reports. sometimes those can be the most helpful.

go to your local library, and GOOGLE! also, if your school has subscriptions to academic scholarly journals, use them!

STOP BEING SO DAMN LAZY!!!!
LOOK IT UP ON WIKIPEDIA OR GOOGLE OR SOMETHING.
LAZY JACKASS xD

o, how awful.

some answers are really stupid ones :)
leather trousers and "dirndl"? that麓s only one kind of tradional clothing in bavaria (a small part of southern germany )

crazy, how half-knowledge is spread :)

i think wikipedia would be a good possibility to found out about german and germany.

if you have some particular questions, do not hesitate to write an email to me.
would like to answer if i can.

by the way i am german.

have fun with your report, i think it is not easy to find the right information or even to know if they are right or wrong

Their workday has a big break from 12 - 2 in which they observe a "quiet time." It is kind of like our "lunch break" except that you have to be especially careful not to make noise. For instance, you can get a ticket if you blow your car horn or mow your lawn during this time frame.

if this helps i know some words in German goota morgen means good morning and donka means thanks shane means you

I'm only half German and have only been there once when I was 7 or so.

Traditionally its leder hosen (leather pants) fancy dresses for women (dierndel dresses) i think. They are way into beer there. Also carving and clocks and dark bread.

Oh yeah and sausages , they call em "wurst" , nobody knows whats really in them either

Beer mostly though I think.

Wikipedia for starters,
eat : brauts and sausages, giant pretzels, clothes: liederhosen for men and Hiedi ware for females, capital Bonn
drink: beer, ale,beer
trades: clocks and auto engineering
sports: bobsled, luge, skiing

I know few things about germany. They eat things like pizza (with fork and knife), a dish called shnizel (sh-nit-zell). Real good. Milk rice. They mainly wear normal clothes. Nothing out of the ordinary. People go to parks. They go to a thing called a deer garden. They only serve deer. Its like a small deck with wooden benches and tables where they just sit drink and talk. All parks are cloth optional. Swimming pools have nude sections also at lakes. And the capital is Berlin.
