Where Can I buy art prints in berlin? Near Mitte...?

Hi

Im currently staying in Mitte, Berlin.

I really want to buy some art prints of the city but cant find a place anywhere.

Something like athena ( stores in the UK)

Im staying in Mitte so anything around that area would be great.

Thanks

Hello,

I have had a look for you but didn't manage to find anywhere.

I am from the UK and so know what you are talking about, but they don't really have those kinds of shops in Germany.

Berlin is so vibrant that I would recommend walking around the shops and see if you find somewhere, go to a museum - they may have a gift shop selling them - but these may be expensive - or..
Ask where you are staying - at the hostel or hotel..or friends..they should be able to help you.

Good luck!

Maybe you should ask in this shop:
http://www.r-r-galerie.de/ (only in german unfortunately, it's in Grolmanstrasse 39, in Charlottenburg).

They have also some berlin related prints (but more the modern artistic way) at Kunsthaus Tacheles in Oranienburger Strasse.

There is a Lumas-Gallery in Mitte (in the Hackesche Hoefe), I suppose it's not exactly what you asked for, but maybe the staff is able to help you with your question. http://www.uk.lumas.com/
Also in Mitte is the Berliner Poster Verlag: http://www.berlinerposterverlag.com/ , which is specialized in newcomer art prints, maybe they can help you, too...

You may also visit the museums shops and also some tourist shops have berlin prints.

Go the Nikolaiviertel. It's not far from you.

There is a road passing the Rote Rathousse called Rathousstrasse. Near one of the entrances to the Nikolai you'll find a row of shops, one of which sells Art and will also do your framing for you.
Sorry I can't remember its name but you won't miss it when you get there.
