Can someone reccomend the Best location for hostel accommadation in Berlin city?

Im travelling to Berlin for 3 nights in August with 8 lively lads. Were looking for the best location to stay within walking distance to pubs/clubs etc. preferably a hostel.

Wow Berlin has so so many.......

I will find you the best - I have stayed in Berlin - but will find you better!!

brb...

Ok just spoke to my friends - here are some suggestions for you:

The Three Little Pigs Hostel Berlin next to the Potsdamer Platz should be the home for your stay in the German capital.

Our youth hostel is located at Stresemannstra脽e 66.
The street has a historic past.
It had been part of the Berlin wall, which divided the city for more than 28 years.

That is only one reason why this place seems to be the best site for a hostel that welcomes travelers from Germany and from all around the globe. You do not have to look for historic sights and places of interest too long. You will find them virtually at the next corner. You should come and see us. It would give us great pleasure.

See you soon

he Heart of Gold Hostel is the Starship of the Berlin Hostels. We got off ground in 2003 and met a lot of new friends on our trip through the galaxies since then - as Hostel in Berlin.
Our Towels packed we enjoy the two suns outside this unique One out of the state-of-the-art hostels that looks a bit like the spaceship, but then again it doesn't - really, it is mostly harmless.

Breakfast, bedlinen and towels r FREE. email hello@generatorhostels.com from 12 euros or around that per night

I can second the recommendation for the Circus

I agree, the Generator was cool, inexpensive and not far from all the sight seeing in Berlin.

I can recommend The Circus Hostel (thumberlina already gave you the link) in Weinbergstra脽e. It's clean, you can walk to the city center and there are restaurants around. Furthermore, it's not far away from loads of nice pubs (Oranienburger Stra脽e).
