Does Magdeburg have great shopping stores? if yes what are they?

i just want to know because i'm going there for a vacation and i don't know where to shop.

I live in Magdeburg. Magdeburg is a fairly large industrial town with a quarter millon inhabitants and a vibrant student nightlife. It is the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, btw and about 2 hours by car or train away from Berlin.(So you got the wrong category.) There are 3 or 4 shopping malls there, the one in the city centre is the Allee-Center (intersection of Ernst-Reuter-Allee with Breiter Weg) half a mile away from the train station. Breiter Weg and the surrounding streets form one of the inner city shopping areas in Magdeburg. Other options are the malls in the outskirts of the town like FloraPark or B枚rdePark. I think where you'll end up shopping will depend on where you stay. Be warned though that for a real shopping experience you'll have to go to Berlin. I usuallly do this about 3-4 times a year.
