Will a blow dryer and coffee maker purchased in the USA work in Germany or do you need some type of converter?

Will a blow dryer and coffee maker purchased in the USA work in Germany or do you need some type of converter?

Check the voltage on the back of your machines...if it says 110-240 volts, you are in luck, and only need an US-German adaptor plug. If they were made only for the US market, you need a transformer - the European plug is usually built in - but check the power usage for your hairdryer before you buy...needs to be over 1000 watts, usually...

You need a converter for the outlets.

You need a voltage converter and plug adaptor. US uses 110/120, Germany uses 240.
