Make sure to call ahead if they have restricted access. They sometimes have that. Please note also that some of the outlets are outside of Berlin.

Here's a link to a site that gives you directions to various outlets, malls, and department stores in Berlin. It'll give you some insight as to what is trendy, and designer brands that you may be looking for. The majority of the stores are located in the towne center, so you shouldn't have to go very far out of your way coming from any direction. Have a great trip!
