I'm flying to berlin in 2 days, any tips?

whats the weather like now.

What a load of #$%^&*!

Berlin is beautiful in October - they call it Goldene Oktober, and the weather while chilly (take a jacket) is lovely. The trees in the Tiergarten are just wonderful.

Bus 100 from Bahnhof Zoo goes to Alexanderplatz past a lot of the big tourist attractions - it's a great ride, particularly through the Tiergarten.

Walk down Unter den Linden past all the beautiful old buildings. Visit the Reichstag in the evening, when the city is lit up, and the lines are shorter.

See some of the Wall memorials - Checkpoint Charlie, the East Side Gallery, the Wall museum - interesting history.

Make it to one or more of the incredible museums in the city.

Hold on to you things really tight...u dnt wanna get robbed!!

Hi! I've been there last year...the weather there is almost always cold... (I went there in August and it was incredibly cold!) so bring warm clothes!
Then I suggest you to visit the Pergamon Museum...it is absolutely amazing!! You must pay a visit!! And don't forget to take the free earphone guide at the entrance.
The other thing to do is walking along the main streets...you will visit the whole centre in this way...go to Kurfurstendamm (it's a very long street) you can't miss it! There are many street artists and lots of fun and colour....
Have a nice journey!
:)

go to www.wetteronline.de.......this will show you the weather.and what the trend is going to be...Have fun and stay off the dark allys at night. You might get pick pocketed or alot of druggies and stuff asking you for money. Other than that have a great time try to pick up on the language even though most speak english. Dont think about the WW2 photos and stories you heard...Its totally different then in those days. Do alot of sightseeing and take your camera with some USB sticks...if you have digital. One place I would say is alexandria platz and dont forget the Brandenburg....and anywhere on Lindenburg strasse..Its a cool place....There is alot of unemployment in this area. so hold your wallet close.

Berlin is amazing and the weather in October is similar to that of New England. Make sure you see the Topography of Terror Exhibit, awesome.

Yep, use an ATM card, take Euros with you, don't get them at the airport. Go first to the tourist bureau (Near Europa Center) and buy your tourist discount book, then go to the Fernsehenturm for lunch so you can get a 360 degree view of the city and get your bearings...then have fun....(Most of October the weather is great, but sometimes in the last 10 days or so of the month, you can freeze your butt off...

dont get sick at airiplane
bring water with you
Berlin is an interesting city, youll enjoy it, is a lot of young artists, people wanting to have fun and life at its best.
