Does anyone know an official German/English translator...?

for visa stuff in Berlin? Possibly cheap, for translating documents into English...
Any good advices?

(It's for a friend in Berlin)

Hallo Otto, google doch mal.

I believe you can go to almost any language school, but most will be expensive. Try Die Neue Schule. I used to teach English for them and their prices are much better than a lot of other places. Otherwise, just look in Die Zitty or Der Tip in the ads in the back. I'm sure there are tons of freelancers doing it too.

I know one in Schw盲bisch Gm眉nd who charges 鈧?,60 per line which is about as cheap as it gets.

You'll need a professional translating service with Staatlich gepr眉ftem 脺bersetzer. Since these are important documents.

When we needed papers translated from English to German, we went to our towns Rathaus, and they had a list of translators. Maybe Berlin would have a list as well.

Also, post this on www.craigslist.com asking for a translator.

Good luck to your friend!
