How to find rail distance between cities in switzerland? yea sbb.ch will be just fine, but believe me when youre in switzerland you dont need to find out the distance between cities! Switzerland is tinnnnnnny, about the size of Delaware so the maximum distance between two cities is no more then 3-4hours by train! ...that would probably be from Geneva to Basel. Maps have scales.....use a ruler. :) Go to this website:www.sbb.ch/en I recommend buying a SwissPass, it's the cheapest way to go, if you are going to be doing a lot of traveling in Switzerland. While the Swiss railway site is an excellent timetable guide, unfortunately it will not indicate distances.
