Will march end be a good time to visit switzerland? Anytime is good but try May or June. Perfect weather. Don't forget to make reservation if you are specific or picky about hostel or hotel. A simple question to answer. ANYTIME is great time to visit switzerland. It is by far one of thet greatest places I have ever been. If your concerned about it being crowded, stay away from the huge ski resort towns like Zurich as March is still great time for skiing in the Alps. If you haven't made flight arrangments, tickets are currently going for nearly 2,000 dollars on Lufthansa. If you've already made your plans, get ready to take some awesome pictures and have a great time in the majestic swiss alps, and good luck with the German! I lived 17 years in switzerland. March will still be cold. Have warm clothes. The best time to go is July-October. This is the music scene season for open air concerts and such. montreux,Paleo and other festivals. then the wine festivals in September-October. Any time is awesome in Switzerland, even when it rains, this country is so beautiful! Keep away from the big cities, and enjoy the villages and mountain pastures. If you like skiing/ snowboarding March is a very good time, but if you prefer hiking, you should wait until May-October. Enjoy your time in Switzerland! |
