Will the curling iron I use in the U.S. work in Europe? A 240 volt curling iron will be cheaper than the converter to make a 110 volt curling iron work. Do not be confused by the adapters which only change the shape of the plug, they do not alter the current and will not work for you. you'll need a voltage adapter... 240 to 120 volts, else it will get too hot and the element will burn out. Probably. If the curling iron does not have a setting for different voltages, you will need a power adapter. You can get these at most electronics stores. You will need to know how much power your curling iron needs. This is normally expressed in watts. No, the voltage used in the United States is 110 volts...large parts of Europe work on 240 volts.Also the frequency is different. Nope. Even if you get a voltage adaptor, the iron will go bust due to the differences in frequency and amperage. dont bother with adapters and the like.. I live in Spain and these things are super cheap..buy one here..it will be under 10 euros.. its the same all over europe. i tried to use mine with a voltage adapter and kicked the circuit braker at the hotel (in Germany). I would suggest buying one when you get there, it doesn't cost much more then the voltage adapter, and it will work for sure. Some of them have a switch on them to change the voltage. Parts of Europe need the switch to be set to 240V, it doesn`t matter about the frequency. Oh yes, as long as the power requirement is met. Check your curling iron for the input power. If it is only 110VAC, then you will need a step-down transformer to step down the voltage for thos European cities from 240VAC to 110VAC supply for you. My advice to you is not to carry any electronics with you. It will be cheaper and safer to buy new ones once there. |

If I understand the question, I think that the two of you have one ticket. All girls are beautiful. Don't just look at the outside look at the inside. There's lots of beautiful girls around you. Look deeper! ...Switzerland is beautiful. I know it in the summertime. It is warm, there are many great things to do. The chocolate in Suisse is the best. If you go to Coop or Migros you can get a whole block f... Go to Switzerland.
