Studying abroad in Fribourg Switzerland?

I was thinking about studying abroad in Fribourg Switzerland at the Univeristy of Fribourg. Can anyone tell me about the area or the university? Is it really boring there? How much is the cost of living?

i don't have really good answers to your question, i just write what i know (i answer it cause nobody else has, and it might help you a little)

i love fribourg, it's very multicultural and it's a wonderful city... my cousin's studies jurnalism at the university there, and i think he really likes it. why would it be boring?
the cost of living in switzerland is higher than in the US for example. there are places where students can rent a room, which wouldn't be too expensive, i think ...

never heard about fribourg being boring; so many students there and they all like partying......!
the city itself is quite cool, bilingual and multicultural (many international students). and not too hectic either.
i like fribourg.

Fribourg is a great little town and well worth consideration. Cost of living is on the high side but not too bad. It helps a lot if you speak french (or German). Public transport in all of Switzerland is great and you are in Geneva, Basel Berne or Z眉rich in no time. Great too if you like winter sports. You'll be very close to many major winter sport centers. Enjoy your visit!
