Are brighton pier and palace pier brigton, the same place???

The Brighton Pier
and the Palace Pier in Brighton ... are they the same place? / thing

Yes because there is only one pier in Brighton. The other pier the 'West Pier' was destroyed in a storm some years ago/

Yes, It used to be called Palace pier, but the company that owns it, as well as burning down the second pier, renamed it Brighton Pier in an attempt to monopolise Brighton Amusements. Its bright, great to walk on, but very expensive rides and a rip off for food - Go for a walk and enjoy the views, but keep your wallet or purse in your pocket :)

Brighton and the Palace Pier are one and the same, it was changed to the Brighton Pier when the friends of the west pier tried to gain money from the lotto fund.

West Pier on fire, March 28, 2003. ... Arson was suspected, some even pointed a finger at the owners of the Brighton pier, but we will never know, follow this link to see the Palace/Brighton pier during the recent gail force winds.
