Are there woods or forests in Brighton, England?

I need to know for Geography...

How many cities do you know that contain forests? They tend to be found in the countryside, not in heavily built up areas. Does that answer your question?

yes

It is a seaside resort town.

I have answered this question before.
Brighton is a city - a built up area - it does not have woods or forests.

Not in Brighton itself which is a large town on the Sussex Coast of England, but there is plenty of open countryside to the north and north east of Brighton like the South Downs, a ridge of chalk downs; the Downs close to Brighton are mainly open grassland grazed by sheep, but there are some small woods; the nearest forest is Friston Forest which lies on the Downs east of Seaford about 10 miles from Brighton. The area known as the Weald or the Sussex Weald which is the area between Brighton and the North Downs is heavily wooded and also contains Ashdown Forest, famous as the
setting for A.A. Milne's 'Winnie the Pooh' stories.

Brighton is a town, by the sea, with lots of houses, it is an urban area. As with most urban areas, there are a few parks but you'd have to go outside the city for real woods or forests. maybe you think Brighton is a county/state, it isn't.

No - but there are hikes overlooking the Channel.

yes there is in or near patcham
