Things to do around Brighton? |
I really like to do road trips and visit new places but Iv always lived in Bristol so only really know that part of the country. Now I live in Brighton I really want to see things around here. I have a car so am more than happy to drive places. Im after things like Hampton Court which I loved. I really like old houses and museums and things like that. But im only 21 and a student so dont really have all that much money so they cant be things which will cost loads. I would like as many suggestions as possible. anything in about a 2 hour radius of Brighton really which would make a nice day out. Stanmer Park, The Pavillion, Sealife Centre, Peir, Duke of York Cinema, Brighton Dome, Pavillion Thetre, Arundel Castle, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Lewes Castle, Daytrip to France via the ferry at Newhaven, Brighton/Plumpton racecource, Hangliding at Glynde why not try bumming don yer best sailor suit and grow a nice handle bar moustache!! The South Downs - a beautiful range of chalk downs, is just north of Brighton; you could drive up to the point called 'Devils Dyke' just a few miles away where there is a pub serving food and drink and many possibilities for walks. For fine coastal scenery go to Beachy Head between Seaford and Eastbourne and in the same area there is the Exceat If you like museums and stuff, you'll love Charleston. Also, there are loads of gardens and old houses around Sussex, such as Batemans. Are you at Brighton uni? I work there. Ask one of your Boyfriends http://www.communigate.co.uk/sussex/smdw... seven sisters park! nice 1 mile walk to the beach. The Brighton Pavilion is a stunning building and you can look round it for a small fee I believe. It's a bit like a museum inside. i think you should go to the stadium and watch a match or go somewhere and watch a dog race Take a walk on the beach. |
