Hotels in buenos aires?

I'm doing a spanish project and need to look for nice hotel on two of Buenos Aires's beautiful beaches. Does anyone know of any hotels located on any popular beaches?

Actually, Buenos Aires doesn't have any beautiful beaches.

Mar de Plata is several hours south of Buenos Aires, and is known more for it's beaches--but only a few months out of the year. It's not a tropical climate.
